I have been away for a few weeks busy with school and getting my kids ready for their new year too! I have added some new photos from My sons TKD class. Enjoy!

Finals

New project

Im looking to do a series of work that the picture goes with a story. More to come. Getting better with illustrator is a goal of mine as well. Drawing objects and making it look like the original is important and also hard to do. My progress with this will be posted too!

Meeting some great people

I went on a class trip to an ad agency in Fort Worth. It was a great trip that I was able to ask some great questions about how working for an Advertising Agency works and the process to get hired the best way to write my resume. It was very informative. The photography class that I am in had a guest speaker who graduated from my school and she now works as an independent designer. She was able to tell us about how she got started on promoting her self on Craigslist. She has been on her own for 3 years now and she works entirely on word of mouth. I will see my self there at some time.

Volunteer Work

Here are some of the things I have volunteered to do. I have crated a trifold of choices for Diamond members at Hyatt Regency DFW. (Its where I have my day job) Now I am looking at taking on a second project where I make a web book of the hotels speciality food. I made a Sponsorship packet for the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra. I have also made posters that have been used at my last Army duty station in Wiesbaden Germany.
